Weight gain and weight loss is just about how disciplined you are. Regular exercises and right food in right amount at the right time is the key to it.
Dieting is not starving.
Small quantities for food every 2 hours and 1 hour of regular exercise have helped me lose 6 kgs in 2 months' time. My diet includes more of whole fruits, raw vegetables.
I carry my own lunch box to office which makes me eat healthy food. Proteins are a must; it gives me all the energy to burn fat. I crave for sweets and pamper myself with sweets, Ice creams and pastry's, but once in 15 days and in limited quantities. I feel satisfied and confident today. Diet and exercising is now a part of my daily routine.

When I started consulting Kirti, my objective was to get rid of some extra flabs that I had gained due to frequent dine outs.
I had been trying hard to get rid of the fat mass by jogging but didn't get the expected results.

As advised by the Chihealth representative @ EC1 campus of HP @ Bangalore, I took up gym activities, seriously and very seriously. I started it in Aug 2010. By Feb 2011, I had reduced my weight by 9.5 kgs and the waist by 7 inches. I have started to feel light. My life style has changed. More positive attitudes have cropped in me. Thanks to the advice of chihealth nutritionist treadmill, cycling, skipping were taken up. I started burning around 450 calories per day. Further, the excellent suggestion of break of food also helped me a lot. My cholesterol was at 206, which was marginally above the normal level of 200. During my Executive Health Checkup in Dec 2010, the cholesterol level had dropped down to 160. The consulting doctor complemented me for consciously reducing my body weight and landing up in perfect health condition. Following the diet plan suggested by Akshaya has really helped me to be right on track for my goal of becoming fit. I was 4-5 kgs overweight according to my height/age and now I have lost more than 2 kgs.
